Privacy Policy

Last updated August 31, 2026

myHq ("we", "us") builds a private, personal AI agent for each user — backed by a knowledge store, or "Brain," built from the accounts and messages that user chooses to connect. This page explains what we collect, why, and how it's protected. Contact: [email protected].

What myHq is

myHq builds a private, personal knowledge store from the accounts you connect, so your AI agent has the context to actually help: answering questions, drafting messages, and acting on your behalf on the web. It only spends money or messages someone else after you say yes.

Information we collect

Only what you explicitly connect. As of this writing:

How we use it

To build and maintain your Brain, and to let the agent answer questions, take actions, and place calls on your behalf, at your direction. Connected account content is processed into a private, per-user store of raw messages and derived facts, each tagged with where it came from and how much to trust it. Nothing is used to train general-purpose models, shown to other users, or used for advertising.

Google user data specifically

myHq's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google account data is used only to build your own Brain and answer your own requests. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shown to another user.

Who else sees it

To answer a question or take an action, the content relevant to that request is sent to the AI model providers that power the agent (currently Anthropic and, for parts of the pipeline, OpenAI and/or OpenRouter). These providers process the request on our behalf under their own API terms and do not use it to train their models. We do not otherwise share connected account content with any third party, and we never sell it.

Storage and isolation

Each user's data lives in its own database, isolated from every other user's — there is no shared index, no cross-user analytics, and no pooled data of any kind. Credentials are scoped per user; no single shared secret grants access across accounts. Every stored item carries where it came from, so it can be traced and removed.

Retention and deletion

You can disconnect any account (Google, WhatsApp, etc.) at any time, which stops new data from being collected from it. You can request deletion of your Brain and all data derived from it by contacting [email protected]; we will delete the underlying store and everything derived from it, not just the connection.

Security

Per-user credentials, no durable data on the machines that run the agent, and no cross-user pooling — see above. We encrypt data in transit and follow current practice for the infrastructure we run on.

Children

myHq is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law) and we do not knowingly collect their data.

International transfer

If we or our providers process data outside your own country, we rely on the safeguards required for that transfer under applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the date at the top when this changes, and for a material change, tell connected users directly.
